ISAAC 98.1

Family Focus Broadcasting Network (FBN) is the only Christian Broadcasting Network in Trinidad and Tobago and “ISAAC 98.1 FM”,  the first full gospel Christian Radio Station in the country. The Network mushroomed from the popular two [2] hour Wednesday night programme “Sounds Glorious”, in 1991 to what it is today because one woman held on to the word of God that the vision is yet for an appointed time, and though it tarries, wait for it. 

It is often said, "success is measured not by how far you've reached but by the obstacles you have overcome to get there".  The obstacles of owning a radio licence, and then opening a Radio Station have never daunted CEO Margaret Elcock.

In June 1999 in recognition of her contribution to the nation the government of Trinidad and Tobago granted the Family Focus Broadcasting Network (FBN) a license to operate a 24 hour Gospel radio station.  On August 31st, 2002 the Nation's 40th Anniversary of Independence, FBN launched "I.S.A.A.C 98.1 FM" the Nations first 24 hour Christian Radio Station.

Commitment to the vision is unquestionable, ISAAC is exciting, relevant, inspiring, uncompromising and effective.  The message is clear.  The name I.S.A.A.C is an acronym that identifies the character of the Station: Inspirational, Spirit Led, Anointed, Appointed and Christ Centered. The tag line is "The Promise" for it is indeed the fulfillment of a promise, God made to President/CEO.

ISAAC'S programming coincides with the vision of the Network, for it caters for the entire family. Programs like “Forever Young” for the elderly, “Kingdom Kids” for the children, “Youth in Focus” for the Youth and “Family Focus”, for the adults, are some of the programs that contribute to the impact of ISAAC 98.1FM.

In just three years the station has risen to the position of No 2 of now 31 Radio Stations, and “SONRISE”, the # 1 morning drive time program.

Many people give up in the vicinity of the realization of their dreams. Isaac 98.1 fm and it”s parent company the FBN network is alive today because one [1] woman persevered to the end not giving up.
