FAMILY FOCUS

‘Family Focus’,  once a three hour gospel magazine program, ushered in the second phase of the  FBN ministry.  It is the word coming forth through various ministers of the Full Gospel Community.

Family Focus the program was launched in April 1992 and is broadcast from 1:00 – 4:00 pm weekdays. 

Originally hosted by President/Founder Sis Margaret Elcock, who was able to influence and network all the major full gospel ministers to work together under one umbrella for the furtherance of the gospel, on a national platform. The programme presents an excellent blend of music, preaching and teaching of the word, along with interesting testimonies and Interviews.
 
Family Focus has great appeal because of the ministry of the word that allows the public the opportunity to receive messages from different churches and organizations in the comfort of their homes.  It is a great evangelistic tool as may souls are won for Christ, and the ministries that have become a part of ‘Family Focus’ have all expanded greatly over the years.

With the introduction of 98.1, Family Focus became a daily 4 hour shift within the 24 hour programmin of Isaac 98.1 FM. Who better to carry that shift than the very first employee of Family Focus, Avonelle Hector Joseph. Trained and mentored by Margaret Elcock, Avonelle brings her own unique flow with a segment primarily structured for pastors to air their ministries programmes.

Family Focus continues to be a popular segment with the faithful listeners.
