Over the years, Avonelle has matured as an Announcer. She now holds the mid - afternoon shift from 1:00 - 4:00 pm, Mondays to Fridays and always challenges her listeners to have a closer walk with God and deeper life in Christ. The programme also gives listeners the chance to accept Christ through strong evangelistic messages, and listeners are encouraged to call in for prayer on special segments

Avonelle is also the Founder of a missionary ministry, ‘Is There Not A Cause?’ birthed out of her strong passion to bring life, hope and joy to deprived families in Trinidad and the nations. To date she has gone on missionary trips to Guyana, Barbados, Haiti, Grenada and India carrying food stuff, clothing and, of course, the good news of Jesus Christ.

Avy, as she is affectionately called, firmly believes that it is better to try and fail than to fail to try. This is exemplified in her own life, as she strives to fulfill the purpose and destiny that God has mapped out for her life daily.
